| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 15, 2005 The Lure: Enchanting bubblegum notes emulsified in sweet banana purée. Honest cloves embark on a long journey to seek out some peaches, and other miscellaneous fruit.
The Festivities: The low carbonation is probably a sign of the age of this weizen (1-year-old). Joyful sweet candy and yeast-laden bananas fade into a subtle finish, which isn’t spicy or refreshing. As is right now, this bottle is a tad too sweet, and recalls more of an American take of the hefeweizen style than an authentic example. Will have to taste really fresh next time, as I feel like I missed something with all those great ratings.
Transcendence: I am less of sweet tooth when summer is in full swing. Pailhead (2602), Allen Park, Michigan, USA

Huge fruity banana flavor, with a good clove balance. Some spices and just enough malt provide a good balanced strong back to this beer. Really good stuff
