| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 25, 2004 Bottled- Nice cloudy light amber color. Soft banana and spices on the nose. Very little head rings the glass, white. Medium bodied, a little heavier than Franziskaner or HPschorr.
Mellow carbonation, a little tingling. Banana and spice hits you up front, with a grainy malt finish. Very nice weiss. Boutip (2390), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 25, 2004 Bottle: Poured a dark yellow hazy beer with a medium head with almost no retention. Aroma is a mix of wheat and some spices. Taste is comprised of a very spicy feeling with subtle wheat taste also in the mix. Personally, I prefer my weizen with more wheat then spices with makes them more refreshing then this one. Also, body is average but is greatly lacking carbonation. Not the best of weizen… JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 19, 2004 very Whole wheat sort of beer, nice solid hefe. Some fruit notes but more wheaty and less fruity than paulaner or schell. Very similar to Capital Kloster-weizen and Rogue half-e. All in all a pretty solid beer. Aubrey (2778), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 6, 2004 Slightly hazed and golden. Big banana nose. Smooth and light texture. Sweet and sugary malts with a wholesome wheatiness. Notes of sweet banana, lemon zing and earthy honey. Very mild bitterness, if at all. Refreshing. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 5, 2004 Hazy, golden-orange body with visible yeast clusters and a tight creamy white head. Pungent aroma of esters, fruit, clove-like phenols, yeast and flowers. Combination of elements is appealing but gives this beer a slight detergent-like quality. Flavor has very prominent banana esters, cloves, and a light orange-citrus tang. Full, chewy palate by hefeweizen standards. Very solid beer, but the esters and phenols overpower the softer wheaty elements that I like to find in this style. Thanks to both TannerTavernboys and CaptainCougar for providing this beer. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 30, 2004 hazy, pale golden body and a foamy white top. citrus and clove notes highlight a creamy wheat nose, a hint of lemon as well. pillowy soft, smooth front carriesthe wheat followed by the yeastiness in a lively, filling effervescence at the back of the mouth. A bit of cloying holds the cloves and wheat on the roof of the mouth. Not overdone in any aspect, just a simple, balanced, awesome summer refresher.
