Poured a pale golden-yellow color with a thin white head that faded to a tight ring. Aroma of pilsner malt, toasted cereal, honey, and some grassy hops. Smooth, sweet entry with some soft wheatiness creates a creamy sweetness paired with some light honey that finishes with some soft floral hops. Low carbonation and light, creamy mouthfeel. Not an overly complex beer, but a solid, drinkable offering that I would like to revisit. Taverner (876), San Ramon, California, USA

Aroma is a mild grassy flavor in the background. Has a nice fruty flavor that dominates. Ends clean. FlssmrBrewAlum (1177), Lisle, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 16, 2009 12 oz bottle served at the Miller Time Pub in the lovely Hilton that upgraded us to the executive suite on Valentine’s Day (Milwaukee, Wi). Pours a hazed muted gold pour with moderate white bubbly head that laces. Aromas are light grains, lemon, grassy floral light on the nose. Largely light grains. Initial is smooth, light grainy sweetness, muted pale-sque malts, light lemony fruit, and subtle bitterness in the finish. A very nice sessioner, but nothing special. jamvin23 (162), chicago, Illinois, USA

Pours cloudy golden with thin white head.
Aroma was a big surprise. I thought I had landed a bad batch. Big sour nose with fruit notes and yeast as well as a good corn presence.
Taste has good dose of yeast, light sour mouthfeel with some fruits (apple, faint banana) light corn and grains.
Overall not a bad beer, the light sourness adds a good twist to it. tarheels86 (799), Washington DC, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Feb 9, 2009 On tap at the Uni Wisconsin Rathskeller. Pours a pale, unclear golden with a modest white head. Fairly good lacing and retention. Yeasty aroma with some sweet corn, lemon zest, sour apple. Taste is sour apple with a corn finish but overall I’m tasting malt vinegar in the background. Sort of like a skunked hefeweizen....not impressed. aplusbreaks (330), , Colorado, USA

Aromas of sweet malt, and yeast. Flavors the same. This isn’t anything to write home about but a decent session ale. Thanks again Dakine. jkwalking05 (1485), Arlington, Texas, USA
