Commercial Description:
Brewed with flaked barley and the finest Wisconsin malts. We even give a nod to our farmers with a little hint of corn. Naturally cloudy we allow the yeast to remain in the bottle to enhance fullness of flavors, which can not be duplicated otherwise. Expect this Ale to be fun, fruity and satisfying.

Pours an cloudy yellow body. Hints of banana surprising the palate. Not much going on here, just a good ale. Very drinkable. NG did a great job at satisfying the masses with an attractive stab at a classic.

Light malts and yeasty. Very lager-like qualities. Easily drinkable. It would make a great summer sessional. Thanks Dave Napier.

Cloudy straw color with an acidic nose. Acidic taste that smooths out over the pallet to an almost cider that finishes creamy. Remains easily drinkable and gentle over the pallet. Not bad for a cream ale i could probably pound a six pack and easily a great session beer..

Tap in Monroe somewhere. This is the New Glarus standard but nonetheless quite tasty. It pours with a straw color and some haziness. Definite aroma of vanilla and some apple perhaps. Flavors of vanilaa and cream pie, some slight hops in the finish with some more toffee notes. Very interesting beer actually, well constructed.

Cloudy yellow, frothy white head. Spicy fruity esters, aroma is musty. Taste is light fruits, peach and bananas, slight malts.

Overrated. Have many friends from Wisconsin who do nothing but rave about this beer. Dont get me wrong, its a easy to drink, inoffensive beer, but nothing special. New Glarus is capable of some nice beers i.e. Fat Squirrel, but this one underwhelmed me. Too bland.

bottle thanks to daknole. very fruity, malty scent and a gold pour. quite easy on the palate with a nice citrus flavor and a slight bitter malt finish. the aftertaste of corn is not too good though.

Pours a slightly hazy honey gold with thin off white head that fades quickly with no lacing. Aroma is citrus hops, peach, wet grain malts and some malt tanginess that seems pretty interesting. Flavor is light sweet maltiness, some very vague citrus and bitter hops. A little passionfruit, some tangy malts and weak bitter hops to finish. A fairly crisp and refreshing beer despite its malty, sweet bias.
