Commercial Description:
Brewed with flaked barley and the finest Wisconsin malts. We even give a nod to our farmers with a little hint of corn. Naturally cloudy we allow the yeast to remain in the bottle to enhance fullness of flavors, which can not be duplicated otherwise. Expect this Ale to be fun, fruity and satisfying.

Date: 08/30/08, bottle from Steve E. and shared with him, CelticBrew, and Doboy

Aroma - Honey, light fruits, some hints of orange, and a slight floral character

Appearance - Clear gold, medium white head, subsides to a thin, persistent layer, so-so lace

Flavor - Fruity sweetness dominates, finishes with a very gentle dryness

Palate - Light body and carbonation, delicate, neutral palate, smooth

Overall - Smooth and drinkable, even if it is a little sweet.

12 oz bottle compliments of Steves neighbor (Gee, thanks Brian). Pours a golden color, nice white foamy head. Aroma was very fruity, perhaps of cranberries. Flavour was light, lemons tarts, yeast and biscuity. Sour and tart fruitiness comes through towards the end. Nice beer, would like to have more.

thanks to Buddy Steve’s neighbor Brian for delivering these to the tasting! Along with King Celticbrew and the storied Drbayern, we drank. I got a funky aroma at first, but figured that was the Cow! getting past that, it poured a good looking light yellow color, though somewhat cloudy, with a nice white head that retained throughout the beer. What an easy beer to drink!

Cloudy yellow in color, kind of like an apple juice color. Thick white head. Crisp frut aroma. Griany tatse with some sour notes. Slight aftertaste but not much. Would go good with a meal.

Pours a hazy gold with a finger’s worth of off-white head, which effervesces nicely while it lasts, but soon settles into a simple white ring. Aromas of fresh apples with touches of bubblegum and wine vinegar. Initial flavors are crisp, fresh apples, slightly dry. Main body pairs a farmhouse yeast funk with bit of bubblegum and sweet corn. Lively, sharp palate, thin to medium bodied.

the yeast leads to some weiss characteristics: banana, honey and overall sweetness. in fact, this is not dissimilar from some cheap american malt liquors, though certainly more balanced and drinkable then those. color is generic yellow, head disappears like lightning. small touch of citrus leaves me longing for more. this is boring.

I guess I need a rating for this. Aroma is slightly sweet, malty, some kind of wheaty banana sourness. Taste is very similar. Crisp, fruity, but overall pretty bland. Decent.
