Commercial Description:
Brewed with flaked barley and the finest Wisconsin malts. We even give a nod to our farmers with a little hint of corn. Naturally cloudy we allow the yeast to remain in the bottle to enhance fullness of flavors, which can not be duplicated otherwise. Expect this Ale to be fun, fruity and satisfying.

Cloudy yellow/gold, white head. nose is lemony, some wheaty & hay malt, spicy/herbal hops hanging out that in no way dominate. Flavor is wheaty malt, a bit of soda-like sweetness for a second. Well balanced hay-like finish. I haven’t had many cream ales but I could see this being a nice session beer.

Bottle. A gift from CMUBEERMAN. Andrew, you totally rock! Pours hazy corn gold, white head. Aroma is citrus, wheat. Flavor is wheaty and watery. Not awful, but I’m not crazy about it.

12oz bottle. Clear, yellow color. Thin white head. Smells like clean malt. Flavor of grain, pale barley, and corn. Flavor is mostly hay & straw. Not quite what I expected or wanted. As chaingangguy said, Its not the Milk Stout that you’d expect!

bottle. can really taste the corn in there, at least, that’s what it reminds me of. flavor seems just a bit off, too much of something strong on the back of my tongue, but i don’t know how to describe it.

Only after I logged on to the website did I know that this was a Cream Ale. I honestly thought it was either some kind of pale lager or maybe a pils. It really didn’t do much for me in terms of complexity but it was easy to drink. An aroma of corn with just a touch of fruit. Appearance is a honey golden color with a nice off-white head. Flavor is mostly honey-like malt sweetness, some corn and that’s about it. It went down quickly, but that’s the idea with this beer no doubt.
