To me this beer is a mild version of the Dancing Man Wheat by New Glarus. It is a light yeast and malt but balanced that it isn’t very strong. It is a fairly thicker bodied beer that has a nice yeast undertone. It isn’t a strong/overpowering yeast/banana flavor. Notyhing special but okay. Erdinger2003 (127), Ames, Iowa, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 23, 2007 Appearance is quite nice, the cloudy golden color reminds me of a wheat beer and the head is foamy with a lacing that sticks very nicely.
Smell is weak, but it’s good. It has a nice malty smell to it with a light flowery aroma of hops surrounding it.
Taste is very malty and there is a little bit of hops that I can’t put my finger on, very nice though.
Mouthfeel is very good, has carbonation and maltyness that’s not quite smooth, but not far from it.
I can definetly see why New Glarus is pumping this stuff out so much. badbeer (433), Iowa, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 23, 2007 Spotted Cow pours a cloudy pale yellow with 1/2" of head that quickly dissipates. Smell is predominantly of yeast and corn. Taste is much of the same, the corn is noticeable as well as the unfiltered yeast, pretty well balanced. Full bodied, light on the tongue, perhaps a little undercarbonated. Very drinkable, great session beer. This beer does no special tricks, it is what it is and what it is, is a great beer to spend an afternoon with. kegmeister (25), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Dec 17, 2007 I just don’t get why this beer is so popular. It is very light, with moderate hops, and a very floral finish, which I believe comes from their yeast selection. Not a great beer. fidemaster (172), USA
