Jul 6, 2007 Bottle was picked up by my buddy while he was in Wisconsin visiting his parents. Thanks Jason! Pour is a light pale golden with a tight bubbled creamy head. Lacing is extensive in this beer. Aroma is corn, light yeast, and light fruit. Taste is interesting and while a little light, there is a nice fruity flavor. The finish is sweet and fruity, which I didn’t expect. I don’t really know if I’ve ever had a beer quite like this. It’s a pretty decent session brew that I’d easily order again. Nice job!

Jul 6, 2007 Bottle courtesy of my wife’s friend Cassie. Hazy gold. White foam resting an inch deep on the surface. Aroma is soft fruit, grains, grassy hops, sweet malts, and corn. Taste is sweet, slight malty, corny, with grains, soft lemon, yeast notes and mild fruit. Body is creamy and smooth with moderate carbonation tickling the palate. Finishes with more corn and sweet malts, soft fruit, yeast and grains. Not bad and an absolute delicious refreshment on a 95 degree day in July!

Jul 6, 2007 This is the beer that started it all for me. A very light citrus aroma. Poured a cloudy gold with a smallish head which dissipated quickly. A highly carbonated mouthfeel much like that of soda. Hints of banana, corn, and an unassuming hop kiss right at the end. Leaves the mouth and throat feeling quenched with a slightly sweet aftertaste. As a previous reviewer stated, the beer does develop an entirely new, smoother taste as it warms.

Jul 5, 2007 Pours cloudy, yelllow. Aroma of yeast, banana. Flavor contains a lot of banana esters, yeast, with a bit of a hop bitter finish. Moderate mouth feel gives this beer a respectable body with a pleasant, refreshing flavor.

Jul 3, 2007 A nicely inoffensive ale. Pours orange with a very light head and strong, carbonated threading throughout. Tastes of citrusy fruit with a tad of corn and a slight hint of malt. Not fantastic, but offsets pizza nicely.

Jul 3, 2007 12 oz bottle. Clear pale yellow with a short lived, off-white head. Very faint orange creamsicle and apple. Medium body, sort of gelatinous and coating, light carb tingle. Sourdough with a hint of honey and chewed clover. I expected more from New Glarus.

Jul 2, 2007 Pours a cloudy yellow golden color with a small white head. Grassy aroma with hints of yeast, pears and a touch of honey. Taste is grassy as well with a slight honey lemon feel to it and a barley corn finish. Decent and a good bbq pairing.
