Commercial Description:
Brewed with flaked barley and the finest Wisconsin malts. We even give a nod to our farmers with a little hint of corn. Naturally cloudy we allow the yeast to remain in the bottle to enhance fullness of flavors, which can not be duplicated otherwise. Expect this Ale to be fun, fruity and satisfying.

Bottle. Dissapointing. Light, sweet aroma, grassy with corn adjunt and malt in the aroma. Golden, clear, with a thin foamy white head. Sweet corn flavor, lacks body, bland. Biting crisp on tongue with a dry finish.

On draft in Milwaukee. Appearance is slightly translucent yellow straw hue, thin layer of white foam, watery lacing. Smell is clean and crisp pale and bread malts, light bubblegum sweetness, hints of grassy hops and light fruits. Taste is mostly pale malts and yeast, light hop bitterness creeps in, hints of apples and pears, finishes dry and bubbly. Light-medium-bodied, watery texture, overly high carbonation. This is one smooth and sessionable ’cream ale’, nice balance of hops and fruit tones, good body and flavor.

Lightly fruity aroma, a cloudy blonde ale with a good head. The flavor is mildy fruity and a bit like a sweeter lager. Palate is very smooth and light. Not particularly my favorite offering from New Glarus, but certinally drinkable.

Bottle from Andy. Slightly hazy golden color with no real head to speak of. The aroma also seems to be MIA...with a few notes of yeast trying to get through. Flavor is bland, but you really don’t expect much from a cream ale. It’s slightly bitter with a small tanginess as well. Watery and thin but with decent carbonation.

Poured the beer from the bottle into a pint glass. It had a clear, lighter gold color with a decent-sized, foamy, white head that had average retention and cling. The aroma featured a mix of grainy hops, with some barley malt and yeast, and the presence of corn was noticeable too. A somewhat bitter, but lightly sour taste, with a grainy and corny flavor. The beer was on the thinner side with some gentle initial wetness, but a drier mouthfeel; average carbonation with a tingle. Special thanks to Claire for bringing this one back from Wisconsin!

Bottle. Appearance was a disappointment...cloudy golden color with a watery consistency and a small worthless head that had zero lacing. Aroma is different but still subtle. It has some kind of strange fruity and sweet smell to it mixed with corn. Flavor is a light sweetness, finished crisp without much aftertaste. Overall very light and plain.
