Oct 31, 2004 Red color with little head. Grainy aroma. The taste is like that of a feed mill. Interesting, and the direction of grainy is what I’d want in an Oktoberfest, but this is a little over the top.

Oct 28, 2004 Bottle pours a fairly clear dark copper, small whispy white head, good carbonation, with decent lacing. Strong grainy & oat aroma. Perhaps a bit biscuity as well. Quite biscuity on the flavor, with a heavy graininess. It is also rather herbish. Okay body and mouthfeel. Finishes strong on the herbs, oats, and maybe some bark. This one is WAY too earthy for me. Oct 19, 2004 Pours deep red/amber with a berry and spice aroma. Small off white head. Good mouthfeel. Apples and spice. Cloves in particular. Chewy bread malts. Clean, smooth, and roasty. Very well made beer.

Oct 17, 2004 pours an amber red color with a slightly off white creamy head...it looks delicious sitting here. malty sweet aroma with some bread and hazelnut mixed in. Creamy body, not too overly sweet but can certainly notice the malt, nuttiness is apparent as well as some estery flavors. Very tasty Octoberfest compared to some of the others i’ve tried.

Oct 13, 2004 When I think about the style, this beer will come to mind. It is made to style. Aroma of sweet malt(carmel) and noble hops. Translucent amber color smal white head. Syrupy bodied. Sweet carmelly finish. Thanks, Jason

Oct 11, 2004 Decent sized off-white and creamy head. Nice clear, slightly dark amber body. Sweet malty aroma... interesting. Can’t tell what it smells like. Its sweet bread dough I think, with a little bit of spice. Flavor allows a slight chocolate malt hint to break through the bread overtone. Slight hops wrap the tongue in the finish. Pretty good.
