Commercial Description:
Who is qualified to judge one's contribution? Is it the pure Wisconsin barley malt or shall credit be given to traditional German and English hops? Maybe it is the Belgian Monastic yeast or the Brewer's tender care? Combined, this is a sophisticated Abbey style ale. Both elegant and drinkable this ale is cleanly aromatic with spicy notes of clove and ginger. Crisp and fragrant up front while gracefully sliding into warm malt notes at the finish. Fermented natually in this bottle, the beer in your hand is a living testament to the value of many working together to create something bigger than the individual parts. Moving a mountain begins with a single stone.

Thanks Gillard for the share. Pours a hazy straw yellow with a white head. Nose is yeast, bubble gum, banana, strawberry, peach, and spice. Flavor is lots of sugariness and a banana-strawberry-light fruit combo that is very good. Solid light-medium bodied beer with a sweet yeasty finish. Very enjoyable.

Great, bright banana aroma, just about the best ever. Take a classic Belgian taste, add a twist of lime, and end up with a very refreshing beer. No real aftertaste which works in this case.

A hazy, yellowish-golden colored body is topped with a small, foamy, off-white head. The crown settles to a thin film with a pronounced edge, leaving a sudsy wash to swiftly rejoin the body. Banana and light candy sugar are first to hit the nose, followed by a dusting of clove and aromatic, peppery, wildflower hops. A dose of doughy yeast rounds out the aroma. Flavors match perfectly. The candy-banana combo is sweet, but it is countered beautifully by the spicy floral hops and earthy clove. Medium bodied and not overly sweet, the body is perhaps just a bit overly carbonated and fizzy. Overall a very solid beer.

Bottle - Pours hazy copper with a big frothy head. I like the smell on this one - very pleasant spice, sweet malt and bananas. The flavor is muted a bit which makes it easy drinking, but without much complexity. There’s a little spice up front, which gives way to smooth, mellow malt/yeast/banana finish. It’s medium-bodied with a little carbonation sting. I have a feeling I’ll see this in my fridge a lot since it’s year-round now and my wife really dug it.

Bottle. Golden yellow pour, champagne like carbonation and a very sweet/fruity/malty aroma. Flavor was bubblegum, pepper, malt and an almost pineapple aftertaste. I think I might have to move back to WI, I miss getting NG beers on a regular basis.

12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy goldenrod color, with a perfect head. Aroma is mostly clove and malt, some yeast. Flavor is a spicy clove kick at the beginning, with a great sweet malt finish. Not as sour as other Belgians I’ve had, and I don’t miss it. Palate is effervescent, very drinkable. Overall this is a great Belgian ale.

Bright peppery citrus aromas with some orange peel, coriander, and cloves. Semi opaque golden yellow color with a white bubbly head that diminishes quickly. Flavor is similiar to aroma. Orange and spicy. Similiar to a Belgian Wit. Dryish on the finish. Rich and creamy. Good flavor duration. Well balanced.
