Commercial Description:
Who is qualified to judge one's contribution? Is it the pure Wisconsin barley malt or shall credit be given to traditional German and English hops? Maybe it is the Belgian Monastic yeast or the Brewer's tender care? Combined, this is a sophisticated Abbey style ale. Both elegant and drinkable this ale is cleanly aromatic with spicy notes of clove and ginger. Crisp and fragrant up front while gracefully sliding into warm malt notes at the finish. Fermented natually in this bottle, the beer in your hand is a living testament to the value of many working together to create something bigger than the individual parts. Moving a mountain begins with a single stone.

Hazy-light yellow-medium white head--yeast-slight allspice-wet cardboard--very dilute spice taste-thin mouthfeel--easy to drink but you have to be in the mood for it

Bottle in trade from abents. Thanks! Pours a bright orange color with a short lived beige head. Smell is belgian yeast, herbal mustiness, citrus, and clove. Taste is somewhat yeasty, orange, ginger, and clove. Just the faintest finishing bitterness. Pretty decent for a belgian ale, which I’m not typically crazy for.

Pours a cloudy yellowish with scant head. Aroma is pleasingly fruity. Taste is a complex blend of pears, clove, and ginger. Nice smooth finish. Reminds me of a good home brew a friend would share with you. Good job New Glarus!

Bottle shared by Daknole. Hazy warm golden juicy color with scant head. Nice sweet, slightly bubblegum aroma with lots of sweet fruit, especially canned peaches. Sweet with a dry finish. Nice, solid and complex with lots of carambola character and delicious dry herbal and fruity flavors. Nice texture too.

Bottle from noncaloric. Cloudy yellowish pour. Small white head. Aroma has yeast, lemons, and some light spices. Flavor is creamy with some wheat, orchard fruits and some orange. A very refreshing beer and well done by NG.

Opaque straw colour. The aroma is a fairly generic, indistinct yeastiness. Fresh, fruity palate (apple, pear, plum) with a light malt character. Lively & fruity. Balanced with a hint of hoppy dryness to a generally sweet finish.

From the bottle, pours a clear orange gold with a thin white head. Aroma is malty, a bit fruity. The taste is lacking any real spice you might expect from a belgian, but does have a hint of bananas and cloves at first, followed quickly by a malty smoothness and finishes lightly bitter and sour. This beer definitely improved as it warmed. Decent while cold, I think this is a good beer, but not an excellent one.

Pours hazy gold with a thin white head. Aroma is apples, pears, belgian yeast. Flavor is simiar with some spicniess and a bit of orange peel. Finishes very clean. I’m surprised it has this much flavor at such a low ABV
