Commercial Description:
Who is qualified to judge one's contribution? Is it the pure Wisconsin barley malt or shall credit be given to traditional German and English hops? Maybe it is the Belgian Monastic yeast or the Brewer's tender care? Combined, this is a sophisticated Abbey style ale. Both elegant and drinkable this ale is cleanly aromatic with spicy notes of clove and ginger. Crisp and fragrant up front while gracefully sliding into warm malt notes at the finish. Fermented natually in this bottle, the beer in your hand is a living testament to the value of many working together to create something bigger than the individual parts. Moving a mountain begins with a single stone.

Pours hazy gold with a big white head. Aromas are beautifully floral and sweet. The flavor is spicy, almost like a hefe... a little bit malty sweet with a light hoppy fruitiness. There is a little alcohol tinge, but this is in no way a bad thing. This is very easy to drink and I do hope they decided to start brewing it again.

Bottle poured a hazy gold with a small lingering white head. Aromas of pear, apple, spice and light carmel. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a smooth finish. Flavors of fruittiness, spice and light carmel with a smooth fruity finish.

Bottle, courtesy of a friend from Wisconsin. Hints of banana and clove. Mild Belgian ale, good drinkable beer that fit well with the grilled hamburgers and vegetables!

Pours a bright, almost clear golden yellow with a puffy white head that dissipates slowly leaving a little bit of lacing. Smell is pretty standard for a belgian pale with belgian yeast and bananas and only a hint of spices. The taste follows the aroma with a subdued yeast flavor and a bit more spices. The mouthfeel is fairly light but very smooth with strong carbonation. This isn’t the biggest or most unique example of the style but it’s extremely drinkable, especially as a summer staple.

Golden color with a pillowy white head with good retention, but no real lacing. Smell gives me bready, clove, ginger, and perhaps a hint of lemon. I get some same characteristics in the taste as the smell, but with a little more spice and lemon to it. Strong carbonation, perhaps a bit too much, medium bodied. It’s still a pretty drinkable beer despite the excess carbonation, and a pretty solid effort at a belgian style. Additional note: I found this one to taste much better after swirling the glass to release excess carbonation. I would probably bump taste and mouthfeel up a bit after doing this, but I’m reviewing it how it came out of the bottle. Consider this a huge recommendation to let this warm and swirl your glass.

Slightly hazed yellow/gold pour with tight white head and lace. Maltly aroma with hints of lemon and spice. Corriander with hints of bannana. Carobnation and mouthfeel are solid. Very nice drinkable beer.

What a nice wheat beer this was. Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a nice big fluffy semi- sweet head. Bananna, pear and bubblegum on the nose. Taste is pleasent, creamy and generously carbonated.
