Commercial Description:
Who is qualified to judge one's contribution? Is it the pure Wisconsin barley malt or shall credit be given to traditional German and English hops? Maybe it is the Belgian Monastic yeast or the Brewer's tender care? Combined, this is a sophisticated Abbey style ale. Both elegant and drinkable this ale is cleanly aromatic with spicy notes of clove and ginger. Crisp and fragrant up front while gracefully sliding into warm malt notes at the finish. Fermented natually in this bottle, the beer in your hand is a living testament to the value of many working together to create something bigger than the individual parts. Moving a mountain begins with a single stone.

A murky yellow apperance with a fading white head. The aroma is vanilla, lemons, and a bit of perfume. The flavor is sour with some lemons, hay, and a slight spice presence. Overall ok but nothing to get excited about.

Appearance: Pours a lightly hazy, pale gold body with a thin, white head. Smell: Littles galore! A little banana, a little clove, a little maltiness, a little citrusy. Taste: Light, crackery maltiness with complimentary tastes of clove, spice, and banana. Sour yeastiness. Dash of lemon water. A few faint sugary hints. Spiciness lingers beyond the finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation, though it’s a bit prickly. Drinkability: It’s alright for being a fairly mild Belgian ale.

Bottle from Shigadeyo. Poured hazy dark copper color with an average light brown head that lasted with good to excellent lacing. Very complex clove and banana aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Full complex spicy sweet flavor with solid sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Very good brew.
