Commercial Description:
Who is qualified to judge one's contribution? Is it the pure Wisconsin barley malt or shall credit be given to traditional German and English hops? Maybe it is the Belgian Monastic yeast or the Brewer's tender care? Combined, this is a sophisticated Abbey style ale. Both elegant and drinkable this ale is cleanly aromatic with spicy notes of clove and ginger. Crisp and fragrant up front while gracefully sliding into warm malt notes at the finish. Fermented natually in this bottle, the beer in your hand is a living testament to the value of many working together to create something bigger than the individual parts. Moving a mountain begins with a single stone.

Hazy yellow with a decent head, somewhat hard to discern aroma but decent fruits and spices. Extremely drinkable with a sweet edge, and a moderate carbonation tingle. I didn’t fall in love with any flavors but found it a very sessionable interpretation of a Belgian.

Pours a hazy orange yellow with a tightly bubbled, foamy white head. The aroma is that of a Belgian wit..(banana, clove, yeast), with some spice and an above average floral hop content. The flavor is on the sweet side, with banana, clove, citrus, and soft spiciness. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and a crisp finish. Another great beer from New Glarus.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color. Small head that dissipates over time. Aroma is hops, sweet scents, and a small yeasty smell. Flover is also sweet, hops come through subtly and there is no bitter after taste. Quite refreshing.

Bottle from Bockyhorsey. Pour was murky yellow with a decent head, looking like a standard Belgian or Hefe. The aroma was sweet cotton candy and bubblegum with some yeasty notes. The flavor was sweet cotton candy, bubble gum, caramel on top of it with some popcorn (cracker jacks?) and bread. Banana esters and some off spices too. Not enough Belgian yeast or funk, both nearly absent. Some phenolic spice. Like an odd hefeweizen more than a Belgian ale. Thanks, Bill!

12oz - Aroma is spicy yeast, but not too strong. Touch of lemon and ginger. Flavor is clove, ginger and bubblegum yeast with a very malty finish. Palate is creamy. OK, but nothing I’d go out of my way for.

Bottle shared at Lithy’s Septemberfest tasting. Pours a clear gold, with no head. Very fruity banana and vanilla, almost like a german hefe. Tasty, and very fun name.

Huge foamy head crowns this pale gold brew that bubbles with full carbonation. Aroma is hops, citrus and spice. Mouthfeel is creamy while taste is light, sweet and refreshing. Light wheat flavors with a hint of clove followed by a crisp lightly hopped finish. Pairs well with lighter foods including chicken or salmon.
