Cleaner than a Bud, but correspondingly even more flavorless. New advertising slogan for Bud: The Flaws are the Flavor? jackson220 (136), new lenox, Illinois, USA

A little bit of malt frothiness adds to the faint hops making a very light... and very naked of much else...not there best effort ...but Ok kramer (2517), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 14, 2007 12 oz bottle, via Monger. Pours a clear pale yellow body under a one finger fizzy white head that faded quickly to a thin film leaving some sticky lacing. The aroma is actually quite clean, just a light doughy maltiness. No corn or adjunct notes. Flavor is quite light with just a hint of grassiness and pale malt. Maybe a little corn on the finish? A very light hoppiness with minimal bitterness. A little bit of a lemony smack on the finish. Mouthfeel is thin and light bodied with moderate fizzy carbonation. Kind of a soft limp feel overall. Overall, this was OK, but nothing to seek out. frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 13, 2007 "Nothing to hide," eh? Well, I would have hidden this beer in a ceramic mug... what with its pulpy, pallid yellow body and quick white head. And I would have hidden its tart, nutty, grassy, uric aroma behind some potpourri. I’ll let the flavor slide, with its sweetened lagered base and eastern European influenced bitterness. Too bad the aftertaste that lingers is thick and sour.
I’ve been witness to many "totally naked" subjects that I really wish I hadn’t been....

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 31, 2007 Updated: Apr 5, 200712 Oz Bottle. Rich Bartlett Pear aroma, with wafts of salty sea bean and crisp grain sugars. Freshly squeeze lemon juice over crisp, clean apple slices. Beautiful. POurs a sweet golden, with a fuming core and a silky white soap of head. Flavor holds a standard, lightly tart malt, with edges of aged lemon rind and weak sugar syrup. A nip of sweet corn slides in. Thin grain sugars dominate the palate, leaving it a little indesirable with some DMS. However, finishes mostly clean, save for some almonds, before smacking with the faintest hint of distant hop leaves. Acceptable, nothing to write home about. RAYBOY01 (1869), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 15, 2007 A better than average pale lager...certainly better than the macros out there. This one has some prominent bready malt sweetness offset by a hint of light continental floral hoppiness. Just OK, but certainly makes a nice lawnmower beer on a hot sweaty day.
