very little aroma... grain husks, grass and light yeast.
add in some light spice and same goes for the flavor.
the medium body is crisp and clean yet a touch creamy.
there’s not a whole lot going on but i could drink this for days. this would do well in the desert as a ’hydrating’ beer. 5/3/5/3/14/3.0 lithy (1725), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 27, 2009 12 oz bottle from Roy’s (New Glarus, WI). Pours a clear crisp light golden hue, sin kissed with a moderate bright white carbonation driven head, it cakes a bit and actually remains at a small level, laces lightly. Aromas are lightly cereal malts, a touch of grassy hop, earthiness, bread. Simple yet enjoyable. Initial displays a light bodied crisp enjoyable lager, bready maltiness with a touch of sweet cereal, faint grassy hops, the sweetness sticks to the back of the tounge, lingers a bit with a faint drop of honey, grassy bitterness is respectable for the style, light and balanced. Underwhelning in the flavor department, but a perfect example of a lawn mower beer made by a craft brewer that doesn’t sacrifice taste. dkoonce (884), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 22, 2009 Bottle. Drank out of bottle on boat dock. Aroma of straw, grass. Flavor is. Mouthfeel is creamy with a nice crisp finnish. Lively carbonation. Flavor was a nice french vready maltiness with some nice crisp hops. Nicely balanced. Solid beer. Better than expected. triguy84 (64), Fitchburg, Wisconsin, USA

Pours a clear pale straw with a short-lived soapy head that leaves a bit of lacing along the sides.
The aroma is crisp and clean with a light toasted grain aroma with only faint hints of grassy hops and a little bit of light fruit.
The taste follows the aroma and it’s mainly just light sweet malts, toasted grains and some light hops. Definitely a stripped-down beer with just the basics.
The mouthfeel is light bodied with some active carbonation.
This is a decent lager that doesn’t really offer too much out of the ordinary. It’s a nice drinkable lager, but nothing special. RSRIZZO (1368), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 13, 2009 12oz bottle. Color is a light gold with good carbonation and a nice small head. Aroma of grain and a little corn. Its a light boded brew with a basic pils like taste of grain and a hint of hops. Overall its easy to drink and refreshing but still just a boring, plain Lager.
