Very pale in color with white cloud-like head. Very basic. Slightly corny in aroma, with the same in flavor. Hints of some light hop on the finish. Great refreshing beer on a hot summer day. greenhorn1 (462), Mission Viejo, California, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 25, 2006 Pale yellow straw color. Musty hop aroma. Very effervescent. Watery mouthfeel with a slight bitterness. Maybe good if it’s 140 degrees outside and there’s no water around. Fishish is short and lacking. AlchemistZ (493), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 25, 2006 A pale, gold color with a well-formed, white head. A tart aroma, some spiciness with the bread notes of rye. Somewhat oily on the palate with some buckwheat notes (suntan lotion), some sulphur that suggests a lager, and a hop flavor spiciness that counterbalances the malt rather than hop bitterness. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 23, 2006 From a 12 oz. long neck bottle with a blurb on the right side of label, no bottled/freshness date.
Poured a clear pale yellowish golden with a foamy white head that settled into a thin sudsy lacing.
Aromas of sweet bready malts and herbal with a light spicy hoppiness.
Good carbonation and softly crisp, smooth light bodied mouthfeel.
Light, dry and clean tasting overall, sweet lager doughy, a bit grainy, a light herbal spicy briskness towards the end and a dry, dusty malty finish, had nice drinkability on a hot summer Sunday afternoon.
If this was two dollars cheaper, I would probably be a summertime buyer of this.
