Commercial Description:
Pure and crisp, this is a beer with nothing to hide. Wisconsin two-row barley malt ensures a mellow and smooth body. We imported Noble Hop varieties from Germany and the Czech Republic to ensure a fine mature aroma with no coarse bitterness. Expect this beer to pour a delicate golden hue that sparkles in the summer sun. Extra Pale is brewed using all natural ingredients with no artificial additives of any kind.

Aroma of grain and delicate floral hops, but mostly grain. Appears the palest yellow, with a modest white creamy head. Flavor is mostly of grains, and a bit sweet. Palate is light, soft and refreshing. I suppose the beer is perfectly to style, and an excellent example of a premium lager, but I guess it is a perfect example of a style that does not excite me. Overall it is equal to the sum of its parts.

Poured with a light yellow body and a thin white head. There were plenty of fast and slow moving carbonation bubbles. The aroma had fresh shucked corn and some grass. The taste is lightly coppery with some raw corn and a little bit of earthy cheese rind. Not bad for the style.

Thanks to TannerTavernBoys for sharing. Aroma was barely detectable - some sweet maltiness with hints of banana. Very light bodied with fairly low carbonation. Taste was very clean malt with a mild amount of sweetness. Very little to be tasted from hops. This is an okay beer. It would probably be better taking down a few on a hot summer day, but during a beer tasting it is not too iimpressive.

Bottled. Poured a very clear, very bright golden with a short cap of creamy white head. Nose was of light herbal hoppage, corn, grains, and a bit of sweet malts. Very light in the mouthfeel and flavor departments... sweet bready malt base with herbal hops and graininess. Nothing close to offensive or exciting in here... brewed for the warmest of days.

Pours to a watery golden body with a thick white head. Lots of carbonation. The aroma is grassy/herbal Saaz hops, corn husks, pale malt. The flavor is acually pretty decent. Crisp Saaz hoppiness, herbal, grainy, bready, I’ve been more offended by some stouts... Anyway, the palate is medium-light bodied, slick, not watery. Crisp feel. Not lingering. Very easy drinking. A great lawnmower beer. 2.8 is deceiving. This is quite drinkable and is not a drain-pour 2.8, simply pale lagers are boring.

bottle-purchased at the brewery in New Glarus. I didnt think this beer was that bad. Yes, its a little bland and boring, but what you will find here is a very basic, clean lager. this beer pours clear pale yellow with a fizzy white head around the rim of the glass. aroma of pale base malt husks, corn, yeast twang and some faint spicy hops. clean flavors of pale malt husks, light spicey hops and some cream corn. body is clean, crisp and very well accented. This could be a great grill-out session beer on a hot WI day.

Had this on tap and in bottle. Far from impressive.. light color light grainy aroma. I’d avoid it.
