Commercial Description:
Pure and crisp, this is a beer with nothing to hide. Wisconsin two-row barley malt ensures a mellow and smooth body. We imported Noble Hop varieties from Germany and the Czech Republic to ensure a fine mature aroma with no coarse bitterness. Expect this beer to pour a delicate golden hue that sparkles in the summer sun. Extra Pale is brewed using all natural ingredients with no artificial additives of any kind.

Bottle. Drank out of bottle on boat dock. Aroma of straw, grass. Flavor is. Mouthfeel is creamy with a nice crisp finnish. Lively carbonation. Flavor was a nice french vready maltiness with some nice crisp hops. Nicely balanced. Solid beer. Better than expected.

Fine German lager example. Just as the description says. New Glarus does a fine job.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a clear pale straw with a short-lived soapy head that leaves a bit of lacing along the sides. The aroma is crisp and clean with a light toasted grain aroma with only faint hints of grassy hops and a little bit of light fruit. The taste follows the aroma and it’s mainly just light sweet malts, toasted grains and some light hops. Definitely a stripped-down beer with just the basics. The mouthfeel is light bodied with some active carbonation. This is a decent lager that doesn’t really offer too much out of the ordinary. It’s a nice drinkable lager, but nothing special.

12oz bottle. Color is a light gold with good carbonation and a nice small head. Aroma of grain and a little corn. Its a light boded brew with a basic pils like taste of grain and a hint of hops. Overall its easy to drink and refreshing but still just a boring, plain Lager.

Bottle. Pours light yellow with a small, fizzy white head, somewhat diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (straw, grain, meal), average hop (grass), average yeast (dough, sweat) with notes of ginger and vegetable. Light bodied, mineral texture, average carbonation, and a metallic finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

Mild hop taste, accompanied by heavy malts. Nothing special about this brew.

Poured from bottle a transparent golden color. Has a malty smell to it. Taste like grain as well. Wouldn’t drink this again

Bottle from the brewery. Typical pale yellow with a white head. Grainy nose with musty continental hops. Actually, the hops really come out in this one. Taste is a bit sweet and full bodied with a very clean bitterness to balance. I could drink tons of this for the summer.
