Comes across the palate with a lot of grain and a little hops. Its ok, very similar to macro brews but a toleratable one. CanIHave4Beers (897), Des Moines, Iowa, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 16, 2009 The second in my short tour of the more pedestrian side of New Glarus this evening. Pours a pale golden color with a medium to small rocky head. This kind of smells like something between a Bohemian Pilsner and Miller High life, nicely malty with a mild grassy hop aroma and some fresh cut hay, it’s pretty aromatic just not a lot exciting going on there in that aroma. Flavor is better than the aroma for sure, nice little bright maltiness, some baguette like breadiness, and just enough zing of hops to make it all wonderfully balanced. There is a mild fruitiness but I can’t quite put my finger on specifics. This is terribly refreshing, and it is indeed what it is. A truly pale lager free of adjuncts, chemicals, and over processing. Delicious really, but really not very exciting. Trev (881), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA

Grassy hop, light sweet grainy malt aroma.
Flavour is crisp, grainy malt, touch of corn in the sweetness?
Light bitterness in the finish.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 22, 2009 Bottle via trade. Pale golden in color with a fizzy white head. Aroma of grain, pale malt, and slight grassy pilsner-ish hops. Flavor more of the same, not too exciting but somewhat fresh-tasting if anything. Somewhat corny/grainy. Fairly light body. Drinkable and not bad for a hot summer day, but there really wasn’t enough to differentiate it from macro lagers IMO. BrewDad (2370), Olympia, Washington, USA

Aroma: Light lager malt aroma with a light hopping.
Appearance: Light golden in color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor: Lager malt flavor this was a decent hot day brew.
Palate: Dry finish, with a Good Mouthfeel.
Overall: This was a lager b toe of the beer lagers for that. I would drink this any day before one of the big boy (BMC) lagers.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 7, 2009 Pours pale yellow with a 2-3 finger tall, fizzy head that has decent retention. Aroma is light but pleasant, a little straw, grassy hops, a hint of toast, some sweet malt and raw barley. Flavor is grainy malt, cereal grains, sweet hay, hints of grass and some light toasted grain, just a hint of hop bitterness to finish. Palate is light and heavily carbonated, good for the style but nothing too interesting. TheSpeedyOne (877), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | May 19, 2009 Thanks to JuiceIsLoose for this. Pours the color of a pale lager. Tastes the way a pale lager should taste, with a little more in the way of flavors. Lots of grain and a little hops. Not bad.
