Commercial Description:
Pure and crisp, this is a beer with nothing to hide. Wisconsin two-row barley malt ensures a mellow and smooth body. We imported Noble Hop varieties from Germany and the Czech Republic to ensure a fine mature aroma with no coarse bitterness. Expect this beer to pour a delicate golden hue that sparkles in the summer sun. Extra Pale is brewed using all natural ingredients with no artificial additives of any kind.

Pours a light, bright clear yellowish color with short lived white head. Smell is clean light malty corn like smell. Taste is really watery with a light crispness from the light hops and crisp carbonation. Very light malt flavor, so it’s not overly sweet, but it is still a bit underflavored. Perfect for consumption in mass quantities!

Nast on the nose and in the flavor and in the finish. What the hell was New Glarus thinking? Just not good. Gets a 7 just cuz it’s New Glarus.

Pours yellow with a fzzy white head. Smells of crisp malt, some citrus. tastes of sweet malt with a crisp hint of hops on the finish.

Crisp and clean, this one is a keeper. Very faint hops aroma, pale, golden appearance. An outstanding pilsner.

Pretty good. Gives me hope that there is a good tasting pilsner style out there. Better than run of the mill, but nothing to get too excited about.

Summary: A beautiful lager, but not much to say about the flavor except that it’s very clean. Aroma: Faint hay-like hops. Not much aroma, really. Appearance: Crystal clear, pale gold pour, puts up more than two fingers of sudsy white head with great retention. Leaves thick lace all down the glass. Flavor: Lighty sweet malts, a little bready, some hay-like hops in a very clean finish. Loses complexity as it drinks, by the end of the glass, it’s just a little sweet and malty. Palate: Thin body, becomes creamy with the carbonation.

This one poured with a light honey shade to it with soapy head and long lasting lacing. It was very smooth, even a little malty with a very faint matching hop effect. This one went down well, tasted very good for an extra pale lager, and had a decent amount of body and mouthfeel. A very good session beer for the summer.
