Pours with a large white head that leaves great lace over a haze golden body. Aroma starts off sweet with wine and wheat, and then finishes slightly tart with notes of wood and honey. Taste is tart and then sort of cloyingly sweet with rotten grapes and wheat. I am not sure that the fruit actually helps the flavor at all. Light carbonation and a dry mouthfeel. angrypirate06 (781), Texas, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 14, 2009 (bottle - 12 oz) Lightly hazy gold color with a thin white head. Aroma is tart with a good wheat and grain hint as well as some very mild citrus. Flavor is very tart and sour at the beginning. A mixture of citrus, sour and earthy notes, wheat, and wine grapes permeate the middle of the flavor. Finishes dry and almost champagne-like. Very nicely done. alexsdad06 (1123), Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 14, 2009 12 oz. bottle shared by shigadeyo. Pours a slightly hazy straw color with a small white head. The aroma is tart, grainy malt with a light citrus that leans toward the lemon side a bit. The flavor has bready, biscuity malt, but is more about the tart lemon citrus, yeast, acidity, and slightly floral qualities. Light-medium bodied, dry finish, and enjoyable given the style and my tastes. Headbanger (1601), Aurora, Illinois, USA

Aroma of citrus and yeast. Taste is of tartness, yeast ,and sourness. This light to medium bodied brew has a carbonation like champagne and is different but still worth a try. The only other time I have had this style is with syrup.
