pours a rich shade of pale golden/straw with a huge fluffy white head. this thing has got massive amounts of webby and pillowy spotted lacing.
big time lagery aroma... with notes of cooked vegetables, earth, fresh cut grass, dried up hay laying still in the field, pale maltiness and lemon.
the flavor is a very clean version of the aroma with a little bit of spice on the mildly bitter finish. a bit of skunkiness lingers in the aftertaste. the palate is in no way sugary or sticky. medium body is quite creamy but the mouth feel seems to fall "flat" as it warms...

Aroma is medium sweet golden malt, grassy hops, and bready. Flavor is grassy hops, bread and a nice citrus aspect. Finish is sweet and somewhat long. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation and crisp texture.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 20, 2008 Always a fan of an American craft brewer who can lager properly, Thanks xnoxhatex. Pours a clean looking clear golden with lots of larger soda bubbles and a sticky looking rocky white sudsy head that leaves great lacing all over the glass. Smells like a proper lager, some sweet juicy bready malt, hint of toastiness, with an assertive floral noble hop bite. A little sweeter than I initially anticipated, light red apple, lightly metallic, lots of bitterness, almost candy like. Not as bready as I would have liked, much more floral but definitely not skunky. Great mouthful, light and fluffy while still filling the mouth, softer large bubble carbonation. Im almost thinking Edel-Pils is cleaner though. KingpinIPA (842), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 16, 2008 Pours golden amber with a dense white head. The aroms has plenty of grainy pilsner malt and Saaz hop character. Flavor is a bit of a let down. CLean malty flavor with a bit of a perfume note. and a round bitter finish. Full round body with some refreshing carbonation. Dry finish with a pleasant malt sweetness as well. Certainly a fine beer. It just is not goinf to knock you socks off. Personally, I would like more hop character. grimreeser (797), Minnesota, USA
