Aroma is caramel, toast, grass, floral, rich grainy malt and a hint of fresh cut wood. Flavor is grain, grass, biscuit, toasted grain, fresh baked white bread, malt sweetness, earth, hay and some mild fruity notes. Finish is toasted grain, a hint of sweetness and grassy hops leading to a slightly bitter grassy hop fade. Simply delicious. Palate is thin to medium body with a slightly slick entry, leading to a slightly dry, clean (though there is a little chalkiness) finish, the carbonation level is medium intensity and rather spritzy, it fits this beer very well. Amazing stuff, I really wish I could find a pils of this great of quality locally. In my rating for Victory Prima Pils a few days ago I said I couldn’t imagine a pils being any better than that. Well here it is, technically this is a Bohemian Pilsener I guess, but I don’t care. guyinchicago (534), marengo, Illinois, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 20, 2009 Courtesy fantomas23. Pours a clear golden body topped by a foamy, white head that shows good retention. Rings of lacing stick to the glass as the head fades. The aroma shows toasted grains, floral and grassy hops, and toasted biscuits. The flavor follows suit with a balance between the toasted grains, biscuits, and the grassy hops. Medium bodied on the mouthfeel with balanced carbonation and very easy to drink. This is a very nice pilsener. scrizzz (1305), kirkland, Washington, USA

Can definitely tell the higher quality ingredients. Lots of hay. dirt. sulfur. Just a wiff of hops, but that’s all it needs somehow. BillKismet (1947), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours a crystal clear pale yellow with thickish platinum blonde head. Floral, hay-like, almost perfumey nose. Lightish, somewhat fizzy body. Dark grassy notes on the mid-palate, some caramel and biscuit there. Mild nutty finish.
