Apr 26, 2008 Bottled. An amber beer with a rim of beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet malty again with notes of over ripe fruits, as well as caramel and a light note of alcohol, that leaves a slight burn in the throat.

Sep 21, 2007 12 fl oz bottle. Pours amber/orange clear with a little lacing head. Bourbon aroma, slight malty. Sweet flavour with an underlying bourbon flavour lifting the mellowness a bit higher. Slight acidic flavour. Quite nicely balanced.

Mar 2, 2008 (12oz bottle, thanks artusory) Minimal off-white head atop crystal clear deep amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, Bourbon, some raisin, light caramel. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, raisin, some peach, light wood. Flat medium body, some stickiness. No sign of the Brett indicated on the label.

Bottle at Chris_O’s HogTownHarry minifest. Thanks to Chris. Thick dark amber with a slight white film. Slightly over the top barrelly bourbon aroma. Flavour is more of the same. A little too sweet and a little too much bourbon. Barley and caramel with some light hoppage. Heavy malt finish. Pretty good.
