Pours a bright and cloudy orange color with a big white head and lots of lacing. A spicy aroma, some alcohol, some yeast and fruit. The flavor is very nice; sweet fruit, apricots, yeast, citrus hops, sweet and spicy, and very full flavored. One hell of a hefe! Lemons and a spicy zest in the finish. Very enjoyable. nearbeer (1842), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Humongous, enduring head on this nearly opaque orange-amber beer. Sweet aroma of fruit salad mix: mango, peach, pineapple, orange, banana and lemon. Flavor is a similar mix, with more notes of lemon than the aroma indicates, plus some caramel and resiny hop. Creamy frosting is left all over the glass. Light-medium body is silky smooth and dryish on the finish. yespr (12228), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Dry wheaty and malty aroma. Sweet malty and slight caramelish to a mild wheaty base flavour. Mild acidic and light fruity. On the dark side of malt/wheat flavours. Smooth and mellow yeasty finish with a lasting malt impression into the far finish. badbeer (433), Iowa, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 27, 2008 Golden yellow with a creamy white head that leaves a spotty lacing around the glass and retains itself well. Smell is hoppy with plenty of fresh oranges in there. The aroma also holds some spices and a little cinnamon. Taste is of oranges, clove, lemon, and a little grapefruit. Medium body and carbonation; finish has a little alcohol bite to it. Pretty drinkable beer, though I don*t know that I*d have more than two in an evening, if I were so inclined.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 21, 2008 This is the last of the bottles I purchased in August. Served in a chimay chalice right from the 38° cellar. Fruity, citrus and spice aroma along with candi sugar and some toasty malt. Orange colored and hazy. Taste is sweet malt, lots of fruitiness, lots of citrus, and lots of spiciness. Finish is malty with lots of fruitiness. I enjoyed this beer, it was almost more like a Belgian Triple than a German Hefe. miketd (682), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 19, 2008 Pour is a hazy golden/orange with a nice big white head. Aroma is orange, wheat and a little soapy or something. Pretty hoppy with the orange zesty feel. Dry with a long finish. Pretty good. MiP (9095), Sønderborg, Denmark
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 19, 2008 Bottle. Weak spicy aroma. Hazy dark golden colour. Small white head. The flavour starts off with some coriander, turns nicely sweet and then rather peppery. Not as fat or wheaty/bananay as expected. abcfan (247), New Jersey, USA
