Oakes (6819), Miami Beach, Florida, USA May 5, 2008 Opaque yellow, with not much head. Woody, slightly citrusy hop nose with some banana and light nutmeg. Fun- really piney, limey, bubblegummy, with light spicy, yeast and alcohol, too. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Apr 5, 2008 Date: 03/21/2008

Appearance: cloudy orange, creamy beige head, sudsy lace,
Aroma: huge banana aroma fills the air upon popping the cap but closer inspection revels it is partially obscured in the glass by a spicy clove character,
Flavor: big sweet fruity flavor, lots of orange and tangerine sweet citrus, hint of fruity banana, touch of spicyness adds balance along with the raspy wheat character, additional earthyness leaves a lingering bitter finish,

bierkoning (4691), La Tropica, Netherlands Apr 3, 2008 Bottle from Ughsmash, thanks! Light orange color, cloudy. Flowery hoparomawith clove and tangerine. Firm hopbitter flowery and oily fklavor that oddly enough coincides well with the mandarine curacao, vanilla and banana flavors of the weizen. Slightly alcoholic vanilla pudding aftertaste. CaptainCougar (4624), Rockville, Maryland, USA Mar 13, 2008 Pours a hazy orange bronze with a nicely-lacing froth of white head. Floral aroma of fresh citrusy lemony hops with some ground black pepper and clove spice. Body starts fairly full and lightly sweet with a big citric hop character and some bready German yeasty notes before a slightly drier peppery clove finish with some mild warmth. A pretty nicely done brew buit not as good as their other German wheats simply because I don’t care as much for the intense lemony hop presence. hopdog (4525), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 25, 2008 12oz bottle acquired in a couple of trrades. Poured a deeper and cloudy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of bananas, cloves, and citrus. Tastes of bananas, light bubble gum, cloves, and citrus. Some alcohol in the finish.
