This could easily be liquid crack and become habit forming. Cloudy brown pour with a small offwhite head and sheets of lacing. Aroma picks up both sweet and sour from the cherries which is also true for the flavour. Only knock is that maybe the cerries over power the grain and hops a little. Still a tremendous beer. Aroma is of cherry cotton candy and warheads. Taste is a very clean cherry with some light sourness. Very beautiful balance; nowhere near as sour as I had been expecting. Very refreshing, yet complex. The color was a nice dark reddish color, the flavor had an amazing "REAL" cherry flavor not the syrup like candy cherry flavor. I was really stunned how good this is and I will definitely buy again. garmonbozia (227), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 2, 2009 This is a fruity beer so it has a nice aroma and appearance. I do enjoy this but my stomach wouldn’t have it when I drank it. The carbonation with the fruit had a strange impact on me, but it had a great taste, and I will try it again. Aroma was of dark cherry and pleasant sourness. Flavor was initially sweet black cherries, then mellowed into sourness. Finish was perfect, no funk or notice of any off flavors. A well done New Glarus offering. jamvin23 (162), chicago, Illinois, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 9, 2009 Bottle from Terrel at Cassanova’s. Pours a light shade of red, near pink, with a whispy pink head. Looks very feminine and unsuspecting. Tastes somewhere between liquid cherry pie and a Jolly Rancher/Willy Wonka collab. Much like raspberry tart, this beer is one note - but that one note is incredibly addicting.
