Nov 20, 2008 Bottle at the GABF. I feel so lucky to have tried this beer. Poured a dark red color, smelled sweet of cherry. Tasted just like cherry pie. Overall a great beer, wish it was something I could always get my hands on.

Nov 18, 2008 Pours an Elmo-red color with a shy, white head. Aroma is grenadine-like with a hint of spice and a pinch of bitterness. Flavor is very cherry with nuances of cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, and a flick of sour. Lingering flavor is cherry sweetness. Amazingly complex fruit beer.

Oct 30, 2008 Bottle thanks to JB175... Pours with a muddy brown body with a creamy pinkish head, Aroma of strong cherry, sweet syruy, more cherries, oak and other berries. Taste is cherry pie syrup, with a very sweet liquid pie element. Syrupy mouthfeel nice carbonation. Tons of flavor and aroma for a 5.1% ABV beer. Good stuff...

Oct 30, 2008 Rating #800, bottle courtesy of BMan1113VR. Thanks! Pours a weird color that looks like blood plasm with a small cream colored head. Murky and swirling. Nose is tomatoes, pie cherries, and sugar. Taste is exactly like a cherry pie or a cobbler. Cherries all over your face and there is a nice bread like sweet desert component. This beer is good but its somewhat one dimensional even though that dimension is delicious cherry pie.

Oct 26, 2008 Updated: Oct 28, 2008Damn this is good. A pale red brown pour with no head. Aroma is cherry, hops and wheat. Flavor is the same and just incredible on the palate. Very impressive.

Oct 26, 2008 Tried thanks to poperinge and shared with my wife! Wow glad i left this till now, been waiting for the right moment...what a beer! not as carbonated as is advertised but who cares! Intense cherry and light almonds on the nose and in the flavour....it’s literally like eating a ripe cherry and then sucking on the stone, awesome!

Oct 19, 2008 It had been a few years since I last had this beer. Shared one with some friends...It did not disappoint. Beautiful nose with the perfect melding of the cherries. Wonderful
