Tried it first when we went for the New Glarus Brewing Company tour. It was one of the samples after the tour that day. I am not normally a beer drinker but I rave about this to everyone. You would think that it may not mesh just right for your palate initally, but the cherry notes are perfect, and almost provides a lingering sweet cherry aftertaste, over the initial boldness. The carbonation level is perfect, it is lightly carbonated in my opinion. There is no slack in the brewing of this gem, batch after batch this stuff is perfect. We now get this for every single one of our dinner parties because it pairs nicely with practically anything. Both Beer and Wine lovers can really enjoy New Glarus Belgian Red! Jimrbb (16), USA

They really did a good job on this one and I can’t imagine a better cherry beer. The malt is still detectable and blends well with the fruit. fishingnet (1045), Brandon, Florida, USA

Pours a hazy red with pink hues around the edges of the glass and a small pink head that fades. Aroma is a huge explosion of cherries. Taste is the same as aroma with a soft sweet malt bakground that is balanced perfectly by the tartness of the cherries. Medium sweet and sour mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness. Damn Good. dkachur (2347), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

Cherry red with a medium and fast dissipating head. Aroma is strong candied cherry with a background of yeast. As others have said, this is like drinking a cherry pie. Flavor is intense. Definitely a sipping beer. Very nice.
