Sweet cherry Aroma. Sweet cherry flavor w/a sharp, tart finish. Has a lot of carbonation. This is very different, but very good. Would be a good before or after dinner drink, although I had it with chicken & it worked quite well. chicagodri (1041), Chicago, Illinois, USA

The beer is actually a little red. Nice fruity aroma. The flavor is of overpowering cherries. The beer is sweet, but it was also a little tart/sour from the cherries. Nicely done. fidemaster (172), USA

It had an amzing mix of sweet/tart cherries, oak, pine. Fantastic flavor great on a cold night out in door county. toncatcher (228), Santee - SAN DIEGO, California, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Dec 15, 2007 Bottle. Pours a cloudy redish color with a slightly pinkish head. Aroma of sour cherries and more sour cherries. Flavor is not as sour as I would have thought by the aroma. Taste like sweet and slightly sour cherries. Delicious and very easy to drink. drseamus (103), Troy, New York, USA
| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Dec 15, 2007 I’ve had this beer a million times before but never taken the time to rate it.
Deep red body with a small white head. The body is very opaque. The aroma is outstanding. Sour cherries blast out of the glass. The flavor on this beer is crazy good. Good sour cherry flavor with a bit of carbonation which seems to make the flavor pop. Ends on a pretty sweet note. The body is a bit heavy for the flavor but it’s pretty light overall. This is a great beer. If I ever get married, I’ll use this in place of champagne for the toast. Petrucci914 (578), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 14, 2007 Pours a clean reddish-brown color with a medium champagne head and lacing aplenty. The aroma makes my mouth water; tart cherries with a tinge of sparkling grapes and oak. Tastes like a cherry Jolly Rancher. Has decent carbonation and goes down smooth, but the finish is not as sweet or as strong as I would like. Starts off real good but then fades away and leaves nothing behind. The Raspberry Tart is vastly superior. MoDog (916), Griffith, Indiana, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 10, 2007 Poured from a 750ml bottle (thanks Tyler!) and served in a tulip. This beer poured a murky reddish/brown color with a short lived beige head. A touch of light lacing was left around the glass. The aroma of the beer was made up of sweet, tart cherries, caramel, and also some mild wheat notes. The flavor included strong cherry notes, mild wheat, and more lasting, sweet cherry. While being fairly aggressive and sweet, the flavor was not cloying. Excellent fresh fruit sweetness and flavor. The mouthfeel was light to medium-bodied with a nice helping of lively carbonation. While I am not a huge fan of fruit beers, this one was really well done. If you like cherries, you can’t go wrong with this brew. Nice job! Gazza (721), Worcester, Worcestershire, England
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 6, 2007 Bottle at Glasgow tasting. Well, how much hype does this have, and how much does it taste like Lindemans Kriek? A lovely cherry aroma but that’s the best bit as the taste is overly sweet, cloying and has hints of that red sauce you had on ice creams as a kid. Not enough lacticity, too much sweetness, and Lindemans is a lot, lot cheaper (and easier to get).
