one of 3 bottles @ Chuck’s the large bottle, man this is good, aroma and color are both of .... cherries... with the taste being sweet cherry juice up front followed by a nice bitterness and cherry back end... very carbonated and mildly tart... truly a magnificent fruit beer. #200

Bottle at Toms Ultimate Glasgow Tasting: Poured a ruby red with a white head. The aroma was sweet fresh cherries and fruit. The taste is amazing seemed as if I was biting into a fresh cherries with those juices slashing on my palate. The finish had just enough bitterness to keep it balanced for me. Couldn’t choose a better beer to rate for 1000 or a better event to do it!

Bottled at ultimate glasgow tasting. Aroma is super cherry, like real black cherry aroma, immencly sweet like sweeter than any other beer iv ever smelt. Taste is bursting with cherry, really is like cherry flesh, but soo soo sweet, my god after 2 drinks i went and washed my mouth out as it was drying my lips out. I love fruit beers so this was good, but not great. Far far far too sweet, cut the sugar by 7/8ths and let the tartness come through and it’ll be a top ale. Alround this is a fruit beer with no tartness, which is like an ipa with no bitterness, but still quite tasty.

Bottle at Toms Ultimate Glasgow Tasting ... Hazy bright red ... Sweet deep fruity cherry nose ... Sweet fruit lots of fizz ... lots of cherry with a lovely tart fizzy finnish. Its packed with flavour ... My number 1 beer of the event and the one i most want to try again.

Tk2 Bottle at home ... Thanks to Ughsmash for this ... slightly hazy pink/orange ... wonderful sweet deep nose ... quite tart ... but lots of fruit ... bursting ... Pretty much as i remember it... having had a whole bottle its maybe a few points lower but im enjoyin it enough i cant bring myself to lower it.

Bottled, extremely hazy maroon color with reddish edges. Tan head with a bit of pink fades quickly to leave some slight film on the surface. Immediate aroma of cherries and bready malt, wow this beer is fruity! Faint hops are there, but the cherries are dominating every part of this brew. Sweet fermented malt and wheat tones start at every sip, then followed by slightly tart cherry notes, while the carbonation keeps the flavors going. Definitely a vinous wine with the sweet fruit flavors taking over. I got a slight cough-medicine finish on the palate, but this beer pulled through past my expectations. Oak wood tones are hinted at the finish with the wheat as well. Nicely done.

Pours a slightly hazed reddish brown with a sparse pinkish white head. Big sweet marachino cherries in the nose. Not too deep, but still a bit of apple pie of all things, spice and brown sugar included. Really yummy. Low carbonation, full body, but not too thick. Marachino cherries taken down a notch here. Very sweet. A bit tart. Apple pie comes on strong. Dead ringer for the real thing, spices and all, other than that cherry thing going on here. Lingering cinnamon. A bit of a tannic finish, though I didn’t taste any oak earlier on. A really lovely beer, certainly one I’ll keep on the radar.

bottle. pours a cloudy brownish red, with a medium rose head that disappears as quickly as it grew. great strong smell of cherries, with tiny notes of grapes and bready malts. flavor is obviously more cherries, which dominate everything, but not in a bad way. some good woody notes in there, and more hints of a bready malt. excellent tart finish with a great sourness and a full body. could be more carbonated, and it’s a bit sticky, but i like it anyway. i don’t think i like this as much as others, and it didn’t seem as complicated as i would like, but it definitely tastes amazing.

11-23-07 bottle. Had with our Thanksgiving dinner and it was a great match! Tart cherry smell - a little too much for me. Murky ruby red with an awesome cascade in the pour. A bit drying in the finish. It actually tastes and feels like a beer - unlike many fruit beers I’ve had that just taste like sparkling cider or juice. It is unique and balanced. A perfect combination of smoothness and tartness. Very enjoyable!
