Bottle from KingpinIPA - thanks! (also just got one from footbalm - thanks!) Deep reddish color with a medium and quickly fading whitish/beige head. Aroma is thick with ripe, sweet cherries. Taste has a bit of tartness with sweet malts - oh yeah, and lots of sweet cherries. Tasty and sweet with just a bit of sourness. Oak aging helps the flavor, but its not over the top. Really nice, though I think the Phoenix Kreik from Selins Grove edges this guy out in a close one. Reeeeallly good cherry/fruit beer.

Pour is a deep dark red with a off white head. Aroma is cherries with some candi sugar and Belgain yeast. Flavor is all about the cherries. Its like drinking the best cherry pie you ever had in your life. Super deep cherry with some sweetness and ends very doughy. Probalby one of the best fruit beers i have ever had.

Wow, I am really surprised by this beer. I am really not into Belgian styles in general. I know that is a broad assertion, but the aroma of sweet cherries and earthiness is alluring. It tastes of sweet fermented cherries, a touch of chocolate and slight hop finish. Very well balanced and very good.

A wonderful beverage, but I struggle a little to rate this, because it really doesn’t have a lot of beer-like qualities. It takes a pretty vigorous pour to get much of a head. The aroma is a hedonistic cherry immersion, and the flavor is more of the same -- tart, fresh, delicious. Malt and hops are undetectable, as is the alcohol. Actually, even a little bit of an alcohol burn would push it to a higher level for me. Recommended, definitely, but I do have to rate it in the context of a beer. (And while we’re at it -- Leinenkugel’s Berry Weiss gets beaten up in reviews on this site for its lack of beerlike qualities. While it’s certainly not in the class of New Glarus Belgian Red for other reasons, I feel this is an example of the anti-big brewer bias that sometimes rears its head here.)

I am not a usual fruit beer drinker, but this stuff is realllllllly good. Cherry flavor is tart, like cherry pie, not too sweet like cough syrup would taste. Not bitter, great aroma and color. Good head, not much lacing. Excellent finish. Give one to your wife to hold, and drink it when no-ones looking.

Deep ruby red pour, thick tan head that diminishes into a very nice sticky lace. Monster cherry flavor with lots of sweetness. Sweet/sour finish. Very good.

Brown-red, coppery colored, strongly cloudy appearance. Little light brown head. Sour aroma with dominating rasberries and sweetness, even some toffee and cherries there. Near full bodied. Flavor is richer with strong sweetness, raspberries and some other berries. Aftertaste is sour with also this raspberry touch. Too sweet, under my high expectations, still nice different beer.

Bottled (thanks heemer77). Hazy reddish orange colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is lots of cherrykernels. Flavour is very nice of cherrykernels as well as some quite sour notes. Yet at the same time very wellbalanced and refreshing thing.
