Aroma is cherry, sweet with a hint of sourness. Taste is sweet up top, and sour cherry mid-tongue. Medium/full body. Somehow it avoids the cherry soda experience and gives you something wonderful. Hazy murky red color, small off-white head. Intensive fresh cherry aroma. Lactose and sweet cherry in the flavor. Sweet, sugary, good be more sour. Some peppery notes in the aftertaste. I was expecting more and therefore I am wondering how this is in Top50. harrisoni (6830), Ashford, Kent, England

Thanks to HogTownHarry and Mes for this and to Ruth for allowing us to open this. Clear deep red, lasting beige head. Aroma of red fruits and toast. Some raspberry jam. Cherry and raspberries, slightly sweet like cherry juice. Some good cutting acidity on finish. It is very good. Very cherry-ish. Bit of toffee sweetness. Like cherry toffees. Good? Better than some krieks from Belgium? Not quite. Different and good though. Glace cherry flavours. bierkoning (6094), La Tropica, Netherlands

Sweet, sugary, almost syrupy cherry flavor. Marzipan. Sweet indeed, but somewhat vinous and liquor-like. Some lemony sourness. A bit too sweet, but actually quite nice.
