Aroma is a solid, strong cherry with some rich malts. Ripe cherries, balanced sweetness and a good round mouthfeel. Very clean and balanced. Not overly complex. Great beer. sneagrams3 (1759), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Touch of a biscuit malt aroma. Full and smooth. A total fruit bomb! Tasty and complex. The flavors from the cherries balance between tart and sweet. Malty grainy smoothness. Great beer! Lindeman's Kriek was waaay better. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA

I spun the wheel of beer and scored this beaut twice at the Pizza Port Belgian fest. A beautiful red color graced my presence. Had an aroma of sweet cherries. Tasted like a liquid equivalent to a sour cherry ball. An amazing tasting brew. ElGaucho (1730), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Average sized head that disappates almost fully. V8/tomato juice appearance. Whoa! Very sweet and cloying flavor. Overly carbonated. Although this is obviously a quality beverage it is more of an alcopop than a beer and I'm frankly glad I didn't spend the good money it requires to buy one in a store! jake65 (1725), Williston, North Dakota, USA

Sweet cherry pie! The nose is backed up by a solid blend of sweet and tart cherry with a little malt. Fruit dominates this beer. Thanks to badbeer for this excellent brew! blipp (1723), Newark, New Jersey, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 8, 2008 Bottle. Pours murky red brown with a beige head. Sweet aroma of tart cherries, cider, and light oak impressions. Nice cherry flavor, a touch of tartness provides a perfect balance to the light sweetness. Low hoppy bitterness rounds it out nicely. Extremely drinkable. I expected this to be way to sweet for my tastes, but I was happily mistaken. Very good. joet (1709), Fulton, California, USA
