Pours a dirty brown/red with a small tan head. Aroma of those cherry icepops that come in 100-per box and you squeeze out of plastic wrapping. Flavor is lots of cherry syrup, cinnamon, baked cherry pie, and tartness. Not as luscious as Raspberry Tart, but still tasty. Slightly artificial to me though.
Update 11/01/08: Had this again and noticed a lot more tart cherry candies this time. Nice tartness! shadey (1500), Rochester, New York, USA

The aroma is fantastically balanced between sweet and tart. The flavor is simply fantastic. A brilliant carbonation that tickles the tongue and stimulates the palate. Fantastic. Very cool. Then the color is very gem-like when put up to the light, glowing with reddish, pinky/orange thats slightly opaque with a very unique pinkish/orangy head of light bubbly froth, with some large bubbles, and poured out to be about two inches high and settled down to a small bubbly froth with some curtain-like lacing of tiny-tight bubbles.
Smells of nice fruity tart cherries and a bit sour, like a lemonade.
Taste is a heavenly nice sweetly sour and tart cherry thats easily smooth and a bit like a fruit juice or wine cooler but much nicer flavor. It's medium body and generously carbonated with a huge sweet feel in the front, then just lays down smooth and slightly drying to the finish leaving a great sour tart bite in the back of my mouth. Take a cherry lambic and lighten it up a bit and here ya go, a very interestingly, very drinkable treat of yumminess. tomthompson89 (1488), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Dec 23, 2008 Updated: Dec 25, 2008Pours a unclear murky dusty burnt faded red with a thick creamy light red froth on top, looks delicious. Aroma of very juicy cherries, similar to black cherries, simple yet fresh and enticing. First taste is acidic followed immediately by tart and ever so juicy sour cherries, this stuff is sooo tasty Im trying to gulp it. It really tastes like a cherry capri sun and the yeast adds that pie crust like effect. Long acidic finish. The body is excellent and very appropriate, not sticky nor syrupy, just enough consistency, more of a blend between soda and juice. ooo haha this might be one of the only beers Ill ever drink cold. jkwalking05 (1483), Arlington, Texas, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 29, 2009 Dark red with a generous head due to high carbonation quickly fades. Smells like a holiday fruit cake and a very appealing cherry smell. Taste of cherries with a tart plum like taste. Unlike most fruit beers very natural and it does not fell artificial.

Very sweet. Flavor is much the same. This is very fizzy with a soda pop feel. Nice, though. This is one I had heard so much about that the hype was bigger than the beer.
