Commercial Description:
Belgian Red is a tapestry of flavor. This beer is brewed with whole Montmorency Cherries, Wisconsin farmed wheat and Belgian roasted barleys, lagered in oak tanks and balanced by Hallertau hops we aged in our brewery one full year. Over a pound of Door County Cherries in every bottle makes this beer uniquely “Wisconsin.” So unique, in fact, that we applied for a patent. Expect this beer to be ruby red, with a medium body that is highly carbonated and intense with cherry flavor and bouquet.

FANTASTIC! The aroma is full of ripe, sweet cherries with a hint of malt. The flavor is absolutely full of cherry flavor perfectly balanced with a wonderful malt/wheat backbone that makes it taste like a fresh cherry pie, including subtle spices that remind you of cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on top. One of my favorite beers!

Source:750 mL bottle picked up for me by lithy.
Glass:Arcadia Stem.
Appearance:Darkish red pour with a thin pink head.
Aroma:Sweet cherries, cream and cake. Cherries are dominant.
Flavor:Again, sweet cherries dominate, with caramel, cake and a creamy finish.
Palate:Medium body with solid carbonation.
Overall:This was good. I personally enjoy the raspberry tart a little more, but this was excellent.

Multi red/purple/brown topped by an insignificant off white layer of bubbles. Huge fresh cherries - sweet and tart, cherry tree leaves, cinnamon/nutmeg/brown sugar like spice, wood, cherry pie, fruit roll up. Medium, balanced body. Easily the best non sour fruit beer I’ve had.

Opaque red. . . Creamy off white, lasting head. A cascading blanket of cherries encompasses me, filling every pour on my body. Soon tart cherries seep into my mouth, spicy and sweet they wrap my tongue and penetrate every taste bud. None resist, all cry out for more. . . as cherries ooze among them once again, they are happy.

Finally got to try the beer that eluded me for so long, thanks to a friend that randomly had some. Pours a cloudy ruby red with a nice off-white head. Aroma of cherries and spices. Flavor is sweet cherry pie with cinnamon and brown sugar. Bready pie crust notes really add to it. Mouthfeel is incredibly smooth and silky. Best fruit beer I’ve ever had, hands down.

Wow. Very impressive. Tons of sweet cherry aromas balanced nicely by a malty background. Sweet and sour cherry notes on the palate. Delicious. Nice sour/’tart finish. Liquid cherry. Wonderful.

Pretty ruby red color, suprisingly long lasting head, cherry vanilla aroma,a very very sour cherry taste, had a thickness to it. I prefer the Lindemans Kriek
