Sweet aroma, with an initial juicy character. Excellent blend between a sweet cherry flavor, and a sour aftertaste. It’s amazing how much this beer tastes like cherries. All in all, a great beer! glkaiser (1173), Seattle, Washington, USA

This is one of the most unique beers I’ve ever had....and they pull it off fantastically. Tastes like apple cider with lots of cherries. Sharp cherry taste is awesome. Couldn’t drink tons of this, but it would be a perfect after dinner drink with a slice of chocolate cake. Yum yum yum. Also tried this at GABF and didn’t get anywhere near the taste I got from a full glass out of my own bottle. moejuck (1172), Ohio, USA

The pour is red, of course, with a tan head. The aroma hits you rather quickly, and it is full of tart cherries, and what I percieved to be a hint of apple. The taste on this is simply outstanding. This definitely tastes like a hard cider. The flavors were tart cherries, apple, a bit of yeast, and more tartness. The flavor is pleasant, not overly fruity, and easy to drink. The mouthfeel is nice as well. It goes down very, very smooth. This is one of the few fruit beers that I would be able to drink more than one of. Great experience!"

Luscious and tart...Pours cloudy pale red, the color of a pale strawberry jam with some grayishness. Two fingers of white-pinkish head recede to a thin slightly foamy cap. Aroma of tart, fresh berries (actually kind of muted). Mouthfeel is full but light (if that makes sense) - pillowy soft. Sloppy, small spots of lacing. Tart, slightly sour cherry-berry taste with a base of reserved sweetness to balance it out. I was a bit underwhelmed by the aroma but this has a great mouthfeel and a very nice taste. (Rating #500!) They should either taste like beer with just a TAD of fruit or be so fruity that you can barely tell that it is a beer. This fell in the latter category. Aroma and flavor was like fizzy cherry soda, maybe a touch of wheat thrown in. IMtheOptimator (1161), Bethel, Connecticut, USA

Pours a beautiful ruby red with a tall pink head that left a lacing on the glass. Smells of tart cherries... subtle, very refreshing. Taste... oh... my... dear... lord... this beer is amazing. Delicious cherry flavor, just a little sweet to attract you and tart enough to be crisp and unbelievably refreshing. The tartness stays with you in the finish. Shared this with three friends and we all were in agreement... this beer is delicious. Drinkability? I could drink this for breakfast, for lunch, for dinner, as a late night snack... I could drink this beer anytime. Damn it! The champagne bottle emptied way too fast! This beer makes me want to take a day trip to Wisconsin, just to pick up about 50 of these. Matt, if I ever meet you in person, I’m holding you ransom for a case of this beer. OKBeer (1159), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

Deep red colour with a thin frothy white head. Deep sweet and sour cherry pie aroma, crust included! Cherry, cherry, and more cherry, both sweet and sour, slight yeasty and pie crust flavours. Decadent rich and almost creamy mouthfeel. Very nice. Top beer of my Montreal trip. Many thanks to CaptainCougar for this treat!
