Commercial Description:
Belgian Red is a tapestry of flavor. This beer is brewed with whole Montmorency Cherries, Wisconsin farmed wheat and Belgian roasted barleys, lagered in oak tanks and balanced by Hallertau hops we aged in our brewery one full year. Over a pound of Door County Cherries in every bottle makes this beer uniquely “Wisconsin.” So unique, in fact, that we applied for a patent. Expect this beer to be ruby red, with a medium body that is highly carbonated and intense with cherry flavor and bouquet.

Pours dark, cloudy red. Aroma of cherry pie. Taste of cherry pie, with a little sour. There is a little oak flavor in it. It’s pretty sweet, but not disgustingly so. It is the best cherry beer I’ve ever had and will be purchasing again.

A: Pours a nice reddish brown kind of color. Nice bubbles rising to the top. Can’t wait to taste. S: The definition of cherry. Ton of sweet cherry aroma. There is a malty biscutiy aroma in the background, but man this smells like I cracked open a jar of cherries. T: 5* no doubt about it. Huge cherry flavor like I have tasted in no other brew. There is some cinnamon in there as well. God I love cherry pie but would trade the best one on earth for another bottle of this beer. There is some cinnamon in the background, and finishes with a bit of tartness. M: Perfect. Medium to light bodied and refreshing. I shared this bottle with 3 others and to be honest I wish I had saved it all to myself. D: The most drinkable beer ever. I would drink it until they scraped me off the floor. I may move to Wisconsin just to have a steady supply of this beer.

WOW! If you have the fortune to be able to get your hand on this beer, GET IT! This is one of the best liquids I have ever drank. It pours a redish brown color with a slight hint of carbonation. It has the aroma of sweet fresh cherries. Wonderful. The flavor...you guessed it cherries. It literally tastes like you have fresh cherries in your mouth. outstanding! Overall, this is tops in my book! Worth seeking out if you haven’t had it!

This is a really great beer. It starts out with a pleasing cherry aroma, great head, and good clarity. Wonderful cherry taste through and through without being overpowering. Good finish. Savor this with good friends or that one special person. You wont be disappointed.

Bottle at the GABF. I feel so lucky to have tried this beer. Poured a dark red color, smelled sweet of cherry. Tasted just like cherry pie. Overall a great beer, wish it was something I could always get my hands on.

Very cherrylike, sour and sweet. Very very enjoyable! Some people at the tasting suggested that it was chemical, but I think you really taste the fresh fruits in this.
