Commercial Description:
Belgian Red is a tapestry of flavor. This beer is brewed with whole Montmorency Cherries, Wisconsin farmed wheat and Belgian roasted barleys, lagered in oak tanks and balanced by Hallertau hops we aged in our brewery one full year. Over a pound of Door County Cherries in every bottle makes this beer uniquely “Wisconsin.” So unique, in fact, that we applied for a patent. Expect this beer to be ruby red, with a medium body that is highly carbonated and intense with cherry flavor and bouquet.

Wow. HUGE cherry pie aroma. Tons of fresh black cherry flavor, but also has a candy cherry flavor and tartness. Definitely the best fruit beer I’ve ever had, I want more of this for sure. Words can’t describe how bursting with flavor this is. Delicious.

A flora aroma with (of course) cherries much like cherry jam, color is not as pretty a the framboise, more red-orange, a bit hazy, with minimal head, a moderate amount of body, wet on the tongue, but thins to a crisp dryness. Taste is much like cherry juice, but lacking the sweetness. An inviting sourness thin feel, lively, long finish with oak, sweet malt with some yeasty bread. Excellent.

Near perfect, cloudy ruby red with firm thick head. Bright sour cherry aromas, and some faint wood. Sparkling bright cherry flavors, with dry/ sour finish. Refreshingly tart. Awesome Beer!!!

Bottle I have to admit, I really, really like this beer. Even though, quite frankly, it doesn’t taste much like beer. It is a beautful red color, with a fizzy pink head. The aroma is rightfully dominated with cherries. It has a sweet start, and then sour cherry washes through. There’s a very slight bit of malt in tehre, somewhere, but this beer is mostly about the cherry. Tart, sour finish, which balances the initial sweetness. Amazing beer!

Best fruit flavored beer in America and right up there with the best Lambics.

This beer offers the nose a huge aroma filled with the smell of sweet cherries. It is a cloudy burgundy colored solution that settles in under a small head that has a slight pink tint to it. This smooth medium thick solution tingles all the taste buds as it deposits a mildly sour taste of cherries that fades leaving a nice sweet cherry taste lingering in the throat.

Pours muddy red, with a quickly fading pale pink head. Carbonated like a champagne. Awesome natural tart cherry aroma. Full bodied with a lively carbonation and earthy texture. Huge and rich caramel maltiness that wonderfully complimented by a intense flavor of cherry. The cherry flavor has the perfect balance between tart and sweet. I also pick up some almond like nuttiness. Finish is slightly fizzy and very acidic. I can’t think of any way to improve on this. This is a world class fruit beer, and it’s US made. If you like cherries and fruit beers, this is close to perfection in my opinion.

bottle from the cheese man!! thank you!! nice cloudy ruby pour with a creamy beige head. Aroma is amazing! tart cherries, and cherry pie. Smells just like my mothers cherry pie. The flavor is outstandng, its just like drinking cherry pie. Out standing tart and slightly sour cherries with touches of honey. Out standing beer, incredibly drinkable, just perfection!
