Feb 15, 2006 the only cherry beer i have ever tasted that did not make me feel like a woman. highly complex flavor. not just good for a fruit beer, it might be my personal favorite.

Dec 23, 2007 Poured a red-brown color with white head that had little lacing. Smell is of tart cherries. Taste is full of cherries, very tart, as it warms it even started to taste like a cherry cobbler with a bit of yeasty breadlike flavors coming through. Mouthfeel was medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Beer was quite drinkable, and I can’t wait to have more.

Jul 1, 2008 Updated: Jul 4, 2008750 ml bottle via Hezron and Monger. Thanks! THis one pours a deep burgundy with a nice fizzy pink head. Nose is incredible of fresh sour black cherries. Tastes like it smells. All cherries....sour fresh divine cherries..more cherries, and then some more wondrous cherries. And that is all i get from this...no hops or malts..or anything..just cherries and carbonation..which is great if that is what you are in the mood for. And i am. Awesome drink.

Nov 13, 2006 Fantastic Brew! I bought it at the New Glarus Brewery in Wisconsin and hauled it home.(1,500 miles)So maybe my score is a little high, but as they say "getting there is half the fun". It pours a beautiful cherry red and it had a perfect balence of sour and fruit. If I ever have the chance I will buy it again

Apr 26, 2008 Updated: Aug 31, 2008bottle by way of footy... red pour with brown tints. thin pink head does not stick around. this smells exactly like fresh baked cherry pie... aromas of cherries, pie crust, butter, vanilla and a bit of woodiness. the palate is sweet for sure but definitely worth it. the flavor is cherry pie again... ridiculous. smooth creamy mouth feel. body borders full...10/4/9/4/18/4.5
bottle from the baconator aka thecheeseman... woohoo! a whole bottle to myself! opaque mahogany brown with a small nutty white head. this smells like i imagine an open field full of goats grazing on herbs and grass in the clean air in south of france smells... that dream mixes with tart cherries (almost brined?), wood, grass, herbs, earth, cinnamon and cream. it’s sweet on the palate but at no time is it cloying. very rich flavors or the aroma along with cooked cherries, vanilla, graham cracker/maltiness and a beautiful fruity tartness. spicy finish really helps to clean it up. full body leaves a smooth buttery film on my teeth. spice and tartness/acidity keep it real...10/4/10/5/19/4.8...

Oct 26, 2008 Updated: Oct 28, 2008Damn this is good. A pale red brown pour with no head. Aroma is cherry, hops and wheat. Flavor is the same and just incredible on the palate. Very impressive.

Aug 12, 2008 This was the best cherry beer that has ever passed my lips aroma is excatly that of a cherry pie flavor of sweet tart cherries bready biscuit notes taste like a cherry pie but not as sweet an absolutley great beer

Jun 6, 2008 Updated: Oct 30, 2008WOW! If you have the fortune to be able to get your hand on this beer, GET IT! This is one of the best liquids I have ever drank. It pours a redish brown color with a slight hint of carbonation. It has the aroma of sweet fresh cherries. Wonderful. The flavor...you guessed it cherries. It literally tastes like you have fresh cherries in your mouth. outstanding! Overall, this is tops in my book! Worth seeking out if you haven’t had it!
