Aroma was amazing with sweet tart cherries, cinnamon almost like a cherry pie or cherry sucker. Taste was very smooth and sweet with nice tartness. Dry finish with low carbonation. Overall really really good. This one shocked me. Thanks Tim.

| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Dec 9, 2009 Bottle shared by JoeTheYounger. Pours a cloudy dark red with a pinkish white head. Aroma is like dessert with a load of black cherries and a touch of cinnamon. Something almost between cherry pie and a cherry sucker. Flavor is again dominated by cherries, slightly tart, with a bit of spice. Medium to full bodied with very creamy carbonation and a surprisingly dry finish. Awesome stuff. joeneugs (339), Livermore, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 6, 2009 Pours reddish purple/pink with a pink head. The aroma is super fruity with mostly cherries, cranberries and such. The flavor is full on canned cherry pie filling. Sweet and sour with maybe a touch of oak. Very full bodied, almost syrupy. This would go well with certain meals, but I guess I just don’t get this beer. Definitely unique. graham515 (428), Houston, Texas, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 6, 2009 Pours a bright read into the glass with a red tinged head. Aroma is sour cherry with a bit of malt sweetness coming through. Flavor is slightly tart but mainly sweet cherry flavor. Like the raspberry tart, this beer has changed my outlook on fruit beer! fata2683 (883), Panama City, Florida, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 5, 2009 bottle, pours hazy ruby red with a medium light tan head. HUGE cherry aroma with 7up and thin apple notes. Really nice sweet cherry and pale malts end tart again with cherry skin and maybe a little apple. This is so drinkable it’s not even funny. Tastes like a really good juice. l1br4r14n (286), Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 2, 2009 Big cherry aroma. Flavor is maraschino cherries, just a little tart to keep it from being overly sweet. A little oak and a little malt, but really a very simple flavor profile. Tasty. The aroma is sweet cherries, slightly tart with some wood.
The flavor is sweet yet tart cherries and wood with a dry slightly sweet finish. The mouthfeel is full and smooth with velvety carbonation.
Overall, it’s kind of one-dimensional (cherry!), but I liked this a lot. Bamos (19), Florida, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 25, 2009 Deep red pour with a small head. Strong cherry pie aroma. An amazing tart cherry flavor. Doesn’t taste like beer, but is still delicious, just like all of New Glarus’s fruit beers. I always pick up a couple bottles when I’m in Wisconsin. Miver (566), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA
