| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 29, 2007 Bottle. Pours light gold. Interesting aroma: sweet, corn, wet paper and hints of spices. Quite creamy on the palate. Grassy, sweet and slightly spice (nutmeg, clove) flavor profile. Inoffensive, but unspectacular Belgian. dra19 (89), holland, Michigan, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 24, 2007 Pours a orange color with large, lasting white head. Aroma is yeasty with a hint of citrus. Sweet taste without that much of an alcohol taste. Not the best from New Holland. ElGaucho (1730), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 10, 2007 Bottle. Aroma has essence of dirty socks; as such, not all that pleasant. Completely murky body. Orange. The setting sun lit up the contents such that they glowed bright enough to be seen from within the dark brown glass bottle. Large, lasting off-white billowy head. Excellent lace. Very different. Alcohol doesn’t reveal itself until mid bottle. Not typical of a Trippel. Sweet. Improves, but I frankly was disappointed and didn’t really enjoy the experience all that much. radiomgb (2072), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 5, 2007 Light golden straw in colour, lingering medium sized white head, some lacing. The aroma is quite yeasty, some grains and cereal, pale malts, floral hops, spice. The flavour is musty, rather bitter, noticable alcohol, yeasty, some spice, floral, some lemon citrus. Bitter mouthfeel, medium body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes with quite a bit of alcohol warmth, lingering bitterness. This is a very hot tripel, I’m not sure aging this will help that.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 28, 2007 Bottle, pours golden with a large white frothy head. It leaves fair lacing down the glass with a head that is fully lasting. Looking through the glass there are tiny particles floating around. There is not much for aroma, maybe some straw or grain. The initial flavor is slightly sweet with no bitterness. The bitterness does follow through in the end, not much but a slight bitterness that has a short duration. The taste is grainy, with hints of banana, no hop flavor to speak of. The palate is light to medium with a watery and creamy texture, and lively carbonation. Overall it is all right. I have had better tripel’s. I am a little bias to New Holland so I cant say anything bad about them, but I have had better beers from them. golubj (1300), Sunnyvale, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 13, 2007 Bottle. Aroma is mostly of yeast and earthy malt (like a saison). Flavor is alright also, not too earthy; like an above average saison. Some banana, belgian yeast, and floral hops.
