Taste is pretty sweet, sugar, candy, honey, fruits like apple and pears. Sweet belgian malts and a nice subtle hop bite, finished by the aftertaste of the tulips which was cool. Good beer. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 26, 2006 In the bomber bottle at the Max & Joe’s Tavern Michigan Beer tasting (11/21/6). Golden beer with a thin white head. Has the aroma of a pole cat. Perhaps it is a bit skunked. Strong up front bitterness. Followed by a big sweetness. If you can get over the slight skunky aroma, a lemon citrus emerges. TheBeerGod (3157), Newport News, Virginia, USA
