Commercial Description:
Since the early 1600's, the Dutch have attempted to breed a pure black tulip. Many have tried and a few have come close...but none have succeeded. Call it the Holy Grail of the tulip world. In honor of this elusive flower we have brewed this special elixir. We have combined the finest Belgian malt, rare European hops, an authentic Belgian yeast and finally, the brew is dusted with tulip petals. The resulting blend is nothing less than magical.

Bizarre... interesting. Smells and tastes like black tea. That’s about it. Black tea beer.

"UGH UGH UGH This was plain awful. Poured a cloudy amber color with small head. Aroma was discusting, chemicals some apple i guess as well. Flavor ugh apple gone wrong. I poured most of this one, this brewery is 0-2 for me. "

A heavily hopped tripel; it is a less successful blend of styles than Houblon. Very nice hop aroma and a sweet palate like what I would expect from the style. Medium body. An interesting interpretation and a good beer. However, expensive at $7 / 22 oz.

Im not so sure its magical, but what it is, is a nice american rendition of an abbey tripel. pours out a clear coppry color with a nice beige head. flavor is sweet and yeasty. aroma is also yeasty. over all this was a nice brew. i too was suprised not to see all the yeast in the bottom of the bottle

Not New Holland’s best. The big bottle. The promise of Belgian. And yet...it fails to deliver. It’s a plain beer with heavy malty taste.

Bottle. Medium white fizzy head that mostly diminished, minimal lacing, carbonated, transparent, and a pale yellow hue. Nose wa malty, hoppy and notes of bananas. Flavor was sweet, bitter, hoppy, some bananas and dry. Mouthfeel was somewhat tingly and somewhat dry. Light-medium body.

Underrated Belgian, fresh from my recent trip to Michigan. This 750 went down very well with its malting on a hot day, with good yeastiness and hops showing their bitterness in the finish. Subtle yeast spiciness. Mild citrus. Good medium plus mouthfeel

Bottle from Steve (punkrkr27) Thanks! Pours out a yellowish brown color with a white head. Smell is sweet, malty, and kind of hoppy. Taste is yeasty and unoffensive, quite interesting. Reminds me alot of a belgian tripel without all the shit at the bottom. Interesting beer, worth a shot for certain.
