Commercial Description:
Since the early 1600's, the Dutch have attempted to breed a pure black tulip. Many have tried and a few have come close...but none have succeeded. Call it the Holy Grail of the tulip world. In honor of this elusive flower we have brewed this special elixir. We have combined the finest Belgian malt, rare European hops, an authentic Belgian yeast and finally, the brew is dusted with tulip petals. The resulting blend is nothing less than magical.

Fat yeasty nose, gold color, fizzy foamy head. Honey malt first, then orange tastes. Very peppery end - tingles. May be too much pepper, this beers only fault, really. But this is smooth overall and sophisticated. You’d think you’re in Belgium.

Draught Colour not determinable; small white head. Vegetable nose, grain, drying hay, maybe some Brett, and almond aroma. Very strange mis of sweet, malty, some alcohol, esters, but unfortunately, adstringency without real acidity. Finishes rather fishy, like smoked shrimp. Adstringency is rather aggressive. "Interesting", as opposed to "drinkable".

Golden pour with a decent head. Smells like a sweet basket of fruit. The bouquet of fruit hides the alchol undertone well. Tastes like a tripel but with a bit more sweetnes than most.

I am not intriged by this beer because I smell a hot dog juice scent. A golden Color with little head. Son of a gun! It tastes like a family 8 pack of cooked hot dogs, but the water that is left over when you are done cooking it. Maybe I have to acuire the taste of tripels but for now, I had to throw it out. Sorry!

Heavy Belgium yeast aroma, very light apple juice color, very little head for a Belgian style, very sweet citrus and candy sugar taste, slight metallic aftertaste, High carbonation put a carbonic bite in the mouthfeel. Pleasant but not memorable

22oz bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow/orange/gold color with a bright white foamy head. Head receedes to a thick ring and light film. Nose is very yeasty, light honey and alot of grass. Flavors are very grassy, stale hay, light hops, honey, yeasty. Finishes very dry and sticky.
