Jun 23, 2009 Tap at ACBF 2009: Pours a light golden with a dense white head. Honeyish herbal aroma with some graham cracker like malt background. Creamy and fluffy- the flavor is similar to the aroma. Honey and graham cracker with a balancing herbal bitterness on the back. Solid, but simple.

Jun 21, 2009 I had this on tap at New Holland Brewing Company with BeerBaron617. I must say, as a fan of the Belgian ales, this was similar enough to leave me not disappointed. It was a nice golden yellow color with a light head. It had a great aroma, sweet and a bit fruity. It tasted really delicious, a good medium body sweet and a little hoppy. the alcohol content was hidden quite well in this beer. I am very pleased overall with this!

Jun 16, 2009 Bomber. Pours hazy corn gold, white head. Aroma is tangy and spicy: coriander, nutmeg, dried fruit. I can also detect some hops and malt. Flavor is oily, spicy, tangy, bitter (hops). This is quite well blended and I must say that I am enjoying the heavier mouthfeel and bitterness. It’s almost like a witbier gone wild ;)

Jun 14, 2009 Color is a floaty gold with good carbonation and a very small tight head. Aroma is sweet with a dried pineapple or apple wine like scent. Taste is light and fruity. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a creamy crisp feel. Finish is sweet with a fresh died fruit taste, a bit of yeast and a then just a touch of bitterness. After taste is a little more of the pineapple and the bitterness comes out more. Its a nice Trippel that leans more on the fruit.

Jun 10, 2009 Pours a gold with an abundant white head, leaving a generous lace. Aroma rather faint, yellow apples and alcohol. Flavor has a lot of wonderful fruit basket going for it, apple, pineapple, lemon, pear, but it’s on top of an inferior malt body, all husky grain and hot alcohol. Medium body, warming, somewhat still. A mixed basket of a tripel, overall mediocre.

Jun 9, 2009 Poured a TV commercial-like head just like grandpa’s used to. Fairly long lasting. Surprisingly light in color with plenty of carbonation. Sweet clover spice aroma - understated in fact. Hoppy finish unlike some other tripels. This is not a sweet, malty brew like one might expect. The 9% abv is very well masked as this is quite drinkable. A little too costly - I didn’t think it rated that high in quality.

Jun 6, 2009 Straw gold in color with an excited head of fizzing white foam. Aromas of sweet grass, French bread, yeast, nutmeg and lavender. Flavors are good and true, Very light, pliable palate with all the alcohol in the beer. Sweet finish is also somewhat floral, but that may just be the suggestion of the label.
