(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of sliffy. Clear amber golden with a yellowish, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, Danish rye and a slight acidity. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel, sweetish roasted malt and a little caramel. Rather subdued bitterness. Pleasant and highly drinkable. 190408

20061209 Sampled at Captain Lawrence party. Full, sweet. Waxy (?). Don’t notice the peppery lager notes I expected. Nutty and warm.

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of fruit - peaches being the strongest, but also spicy notes - especially of coriander. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of fresh fruit, hops, over ripe fruit, and alcohol, which in the latter part really makes its presence known, and leads to a bitter finish.

Blind tasting at Papsoes place, another great session, thanks Henrik! Beer #2: Pours hazy amber with a diminished white head. Aroma is fruity and barley. Initial flavour is light woody, caramel and with a light bitterness. Shows a light sweetness to the caramel malt following. Light fruity note swept in a light caramel malt base, light spice and acidic touch into the finish.

# 2 Bottle. [Papsoe’s great blind tasting, thanks Henrik!] Small fizzy off-white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Hazy amber – brown color. Aroma of sweet toasted malt, nice fruity feel as well. What appears to be bred like notes. Over the palate came light alcohol, wood like dry feel, mild floral bitterness, hint of acidic. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation and light alcoholic texture and some thick texture. Moderated sweet flavor with light bitter and acidic notes. Light sweet and hint of sour finish. 7-3-7-3-15 = 3.5 19-04-2008
