22 oz bottle. Pours rusty amber with 1 cm off white head that is mostly diminishing. Smells like a barleywine mixed with cherry cola. Aroma of sour fruits and cherry. Initial taste, like it smells, like cherry cola barleywine. Finishes much like it starts but with more balance from the hops. Minimal lacing, light carbonation, medium body, and alcohol was hidden. Overall not too impressive.

Draught @ the brew pub. Pours a clear deep reddish amber color with a smallish disappearing off white head. The aroma is pretty subdued all the way around but I did get hints of sweet dark fruits (raisins/plums) and caramel malts. The flavor mildly sweet caramel malts, more dark fruits like raisins, a slight earthiness, and the slightest hint of chocolate. Medium bodied. Smooth. I was surprised that this was 7% as it seemed to be very sessionable at the time.

22 oz, pours clear nutty brown with minimal light tan head. Aroma is mostly sticky caramel, with a hint of roasted toffee and brown sugar. Flavor is much the same, just a little less interesting than the aroma. Mouthfeel is very smooth but somewhat light, the moderately high alcohol content is very well hidden. Good but not great, lacking the body and finish of really solid doppelbocks.

Nice dark pour with a little hops and caramel in the nose and taste. Light to medium body, and the alcohol stands out a little through the beer entirely. Almost too much, but still a great brew.

22oz bomber-A medium amber body with almost no head and an aroma of caramel, roasted malt, and a little sweetness resembling brown sugar. A medium bodied brew with a nice sweetness to start off with followed by malt and ends with a malty finish. Not a bad tasting beer but not one of my favorite styles.

Bomber. Pours dark, brilliant brick red with small beige head. The aroma is quite malty, with lots of brown sugar notes, some toffee, some dark spicy notes. The flavor is quite caramelly, with some burning leaves. It gets plantier toward the finish, and some woody notes come in. A sweetness toward the finish is reminiscent of maple. Decent, but not too exciting.

Bottle. Deep copper, with a medium-height, dense tan head. Very malty aroma, with caramel and toffee being the strongest. Oily and heavy body. Very sweet as well.
